Now care work at KS becomes even smoother with SwipeCare together with TakeCare

The mobile healthcare support SwipeCare, which is integrated into TakeCare, now has several new long-awaited improvements that facilitate clinical work:

  • Medication administration via iPad directly to TakeCare.
  • Ability to write to container terms in medical records from external systems, which means that all records can be sent signed directly to TakeCare - without extra steps in the signing list.
  • Real-time choice of whether the record should be sent signed or unsigned to TakeCare.

The first to test these features will be Karolinska University Hospital, Care Area Aging, which will introduce the solution to three of its care departments this fall:

  • GAVA Inflammation (R72)
  • Aging Neurology Orthopedics (B81)
  • GAVA Acute (R61–63)

– We believe that with this mobile way of working we will save working hours, reduce stress and reduce sick leave-related costs. We look forward to evaluating this, says Therése Johansson, Head of the Aging Care Area, Theme Inflammation and Aging, Karolinska University Hospital, R94 Huddinge.

- We are now rolling out the tablets tto the employees! says Madelen Andersson, Business Developer, Specialist Nurse, Master of Science, Endocrine and Aging Care Area.
